Katherine is a recognised leader in the insurance industry with a keen focus on driving value for customers and business partners. Before joining Fusion, Katherine held roles as Managing Director and Group Executive for global insurer and broker firms. Bringing experience, expertise and energy to Fusion, Katherine’s ambition is to offer innovation and ultimately to grow a fantastic business that delivers on its promises. Katherine is a qualified corporate lawyer, and holds a B.Com, Dip. Languages and Juris Doctor from The University of Melbourne, and serves on not for profit boards as a non executive director.

Damian is widely recognised in APAC as a leading financial lines expert. He started his career as an insurance litigation solicitor and also worked as an in house counsel . He has led financial portfolios for global insurers in the region before joining Fusion. In his downtime you might find him in front of the cricket or with a camera in hand.

Michael is a founding underwriter and looks after U.S. operations for the group. He is a U.S. Qualified Lawyer and CPA with over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry including senior roles in regulatory compliance, financial and operational audits, and underwriting

Michael has substantial M&A experience, both from the perspective of a private practice lawyer and that of in-house counsel, and therefore brings a unique viewpoint to Fusion North America’s M&A underwriting team. Michael, based in Dallas, TX, graduated with a B.S.B.A. in Finance from The Ohio State University and received his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame.

Filippo graduated from ESADE Business and Law School and holds the CIIA and CEFA designations.

Sylvie has lived overseas, both in New York City and Miami, completing a foreign exchange at the University of Miami. She has been with Fusion as an intern for the past 6 months and is now looking forward to diving deeper into the wonderful world of W&I.

Based in Singapore, Shannon Murphy has three decades of experience fronting technology roles in the insurance industry, having served as the Chief Technology Officer for large insurers such as ING, AIG, and AXIS in Asia Pacific. Murphy’s expertise is rooted in data strategy, automation, DevOps and IT architecture strategy. He was formerly the Head of Technology at Amazon Web Services, where he developed cloud strategies for Singapore enterprises, and most recently the Group CTO of a leading fintech in Singapore.
